Ingredients for Giant Meatballs

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup cracker crumbs, such as Ritz Crackers
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 jars marinara or pasta sauce of choice, such as Good & Gather Traditional Pasta Sauce
  • Cooked pasta for serving

Directions for Making Giant Meatballs

  1. Preheat over to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cracker crumbs, parsley, egg, parmesan cheese, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add the ground beef to the cracker mixture and mix with hands or a wooden spoon just until combined (do not overwork!).
  4. Shape the mixture into 12 meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking pan. Note: make sure you use a baking pan with sides so the grease doesn’t run over.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes, then simmer in marinara sauce 15-20 minutes.
  6. Serve over cooked pasta and sprinkle with more parmesan and parsley, if desired.
  7. Enjoy!
