Cheesy Chicken Macaroni Casserole

This cheesy chicken macaroni casserole recipe comes together so quickly with few ingredients. It's also a great way to use leftover chicken!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups macaroni uncooked for measuring, but it will be cooked for the recipe
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cheese plus 1/4 cup for topping (topping optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a casserole dish 2 1/2- to 3- quart casserole dish.
  3. Cook the macaroni according to package directions, reducing the cook time by 1-2 minutes since it will finish cooking in the oven. Drain well.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine the milk, condensed soups, pepper, cheese, and cooked cubed chicken.
  5. Add the macaroni to the soup mixture and pour into the greased casserole dish.
  6. Top with additional cheese, if desired, and bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly.
