Method
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Melt butter in a casserole dish.
- Add rice to the melted butter and stir to coat.
- Add mushrooms, condensed French onion soup, and 3/4 SOUP CAN of water. Stir to combine.
- Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 90 minutes.
- Stir just before serving.
Notes
Instead of using fresh mushrooms, a 2 1/2 oz can of sliced mushrooms or mushroom pieces can be used. Be sure to DRAIN them before adding to the casserole.
