Easy 10-Minute Ground Turkey Taco Salad Recipe

This ground turkey taco salad is the perfect 10-minute meal for busy weeknights—healthy, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning we like this mild taco seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 6 cups fresh lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1/2 cup canned kidney beans or black beans drained and rinsed
  • Additional topping ideas: sour cream ranch dressing, taco sauce, tortilla chips, jalapeños, green onions, or salsa

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground turkey until no longer pink.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. While the taco meat cooks, prepare the salad base. In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, and beans.
  4. Add the warm ground turkey on top of the salad mix.
  5. Drizzle with sour cream and/or ranch dressing, if using.
  6. Add optional toppings like crushed tortilla chips for crunch.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy the fresh flavors!
