Chili's Salsa Copycat Recipe

This amazing copycat Chili’s salsa recipe delivers restaurant flavor with fresh ingredients and almost no effort.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 14.5 ounces, diced tomatoes drained slightly
  • 1 can 10 ounces, Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies (use mild if you like less heat)
  • 1/2 small yellow onion cut into chunks
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
  • Small handful fresh cilantro or 1 teaspoon dried cilantro

Method
 

  1. Drain the diced tomatoes slightly. Leave a little liquid for blending.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Pour into blender and pulse a few times, or until desired consistency. Transfer the mixture to a bowl or glass jar.
  4. Refrigerate before serving for the best flavor.
