Ingredients for Pecan Sandies Recipe
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans, such as Great Value Chopped Pecans
How to Make Pecan Sandies
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, beat together softened butter and sugars for 3-4 minutes, or until fluffy.
- Add vanilla and mix until well combined.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together and salt.
- Add flour mixture to butter mixture and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Roll dough into walnut-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Flatten each ball slightly with a glass so they’re about two inches in diameter.
- Bake 10-12 minutes or until the edges are just golden.
